On 5 June 2017, Muzaffarpur Institute Of Technology formed its first technical club named “MOXIE”. Inaugurated by the Principal Dr. Jagdanand Jha, For carrying out all the departmental activities under the umbrella of this college technical club. MOXIE became a surrogate family for a student of MIT, helping him/her grow and explore latent talents in fields other than academics.
MOXIE aims to provide students a platform and resources to gain practical skills and realize projects. We strive to teach and help students acquire new skills in an era of rapidly evolving technology. We believe in coming up with projects that are innovative and tackle real-life problems. To achieve these objectives MOXIE conduct various lectures, workshops, and mentorship programs to help students realize their projects. The mission of the club is to expose students to challenges and new technologies in every field and thus nurture and develop their skill set in this tech arena.
Regular meetings and mentorship programs will definitely help students to achieve their goals. The emphasis is on experimenting and learning, no experience is necessary but eagerness to learn is essential.
Inside the club, there are enthusiastic students from Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics and Communication, Information Technology, Civil And Leather Technology department. They collaborate & learn technologies and then they share their knowledge to students of MIT campus by organizing events, workshops, seminars, etc. Learning and sharing are what Moxie does. Along with learning and practicing different skills related to their department, members of this club also learn management and teamwork while organizing events. One such big event is TechMITi- Annual Technical fest of MIT Muzaffarpur
The purpose of MOXIE Technical Club:-
- To develop a platform where the technical innovativeness of students could be nurtured and given a practical shape so as to improve the technical abilities of students as well as the reputation of the institute as a leader in innovation and creativity.
- To enhance the technical environment of the institute by organizing workshops and competitions on various technical levels in order to attract the interest of the students towards technical aspects of their education.
- Provide a platform where the students can put their innovative efforts and clear their doubts to transform them into reality.
- Work on live projects to make the institute high-tech.
